Duck Tour and the Museum of Science

The camera was on a low resolution setting today which I did not discover until after I had taken a bunch of photos on our Duck Tour. So these photos are not as great as yesterday .. I won't make that mistake again...

Walking over the newly constructed pedestrian bridge to the Museum of Science. This is where we met our Duck tour. DUCKS are WW II style amphibious landing vehicles. We took a tour of Boston that included a short ride in the Charles river. Very interesting tour guide. All of the guides are kind of wacky and their narration around the city is peppered with corny jokes, but it was fun nevertheless.

Here we are getting ready to enter the water and float down the river.

This is a DUCK vehicle in the River. Every time we passed a DUCK we all had to quack.

Here we are posing with our crazy tour guide, The Great Garabaldi. He supposedly was a professional magician before he started conDUCKting tours. He did a couple of quick magic tricks for us that were fairly impressive.

Audiokinetic sculpture at the museum. It was fascinating to watch. Billiard balls were travel up and then back down the sculpture using various mechanisms and ramps.

You can't help but to stop and watch this for a while. It is so fascinating.

(Camera resolution error was discovered so pictures from here on out improve.)

Along the Charles River...

Life with a 13 year old on a family vacation....

Walking back to our hotel. Everything is so walkable here...
